LB ❤ Store — Vendor & Host Agreement
Version 2026-11-01 · Between Carto AI Inc, a United States company operating the LB Store platform ("LB Store", "we"), and the business accepting this agreement ("you", "the Partner"). It applies whether you sell products, run a restaurant or store, host stays, rent out a property long-term, run activities or events, or rent cars — the sections that match what you do apply to you.
What changed from version 2026-09-04. Customers now pay LB Store by card and LB Store pays you your share, instead of customers paying your Whish account and you settling commission back to us (section 2). Commission rates are now per business line and can be agreed per listing (section 3). New sections cover stays and hosts (6), long-term rentals (7), activities, events and cars (8), property managers (9) and tax status (10). Nothing else about how you run your store changes.
1. What the platform provides, and who sells
LB Store gives you a storefront or listing in the LB Store customer app and on lbconnectapp.com, a vendor portal and the LB Vendor app to run your business, a point-of-sale register, optional participation in the LB Partner Network, and coordination of customer deliveries. We promote the platform and bring you customers; you remain an independent business — nothing here creates employment, agency, or a partnership entity between us.
LB Store is the seller of record towards the customer. The customer buys from LB Store, pays LB Store, receives LB Store's receipt and claims any refund from LB Store. You supply what was bought — the product, the stay, the experience — and you remain fully responsible for it. Between you and LB Store, you are LB Store's supplier, and LB Store owes you your share of each sale as set out below.
2. Payments and payouts
- Card payments. Customers pay by card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) through Stripe into Carto AI Inc's account in the United States. You never handle the customer's card.
- Your share. For each completed sale LB Store credits your balance with the sale price less LB Store's commission (section 3) and less any pass-through costs listed in the published fee schedule. Your balance, every sale and every deduction are shown live in the portal under Earnings.
- Payout schedule. Product and restaurant sales are paid out weekly. Stay bookings are paid out after the guest checks in, per the schedule in the fee schedule. Payouts go to the payout account you register in the portal (currently Purpl, Whish or a bank account in Lebanon, or a bank account abroad). International transfer costs are passed through at the published tiers and shared across the Partners in each transfer in proportion to the amount each receives.
- Payments collected on LB Store's behalf. Where a customer pays you directly — cash at your counter for an app order, a Whish transfer to your account where that option is offered, or pay-at-the-door for an event — you collect that payment as LB Store's collection agent. You must confirm receipt in the app promptly and truthfully. LB Store's commission on that sale is then owed by you and is netted against your next payout; if your balance is not enough, you settle it within 7 days of being notified, by card in the app or by transfer with a payment code. Confirming a payment you did not receive, or failing to confirm one you did, is a material breach. A Partner who misses two settlement deadlines may have their listings hidden until settled.
- Refunds and chargebacks. LB Store refunds the customer under the customer Terms of Service and the policy on your listing. The refunded amount, and LB Store's commission on it, are reversed from your balance. Where a refund is caused by your breach (item not as described, booking not honoured), any card-processing or chargeback cost is also deducted. Where a refund is owed on a payment you collected directly, you refund the customer and we reverse the commission.
- Currency. Prices and balances are in US dollars. Payouts to Lebanese accounts are made in US dollars unless you choose otherwise in the portal.
3. Commission
- LB Store's commission is a percentage of the gross sale price (after any promotion you run), charged per business line. The standard rates and every pass-through cost are published at lbconnectapp.com/fees. A different rate may be agreed with you in writing for your whole account, for one business line, or for one listing; the rate that applied is recorded on each sale and shown in your statement.
- For sales on a partner store's shelf, the price is split between you, LB Store and the store; the standard split is shown in the fee schedule and the exact shares appear on every statement.
- Sales at your own counter on the LB register of your own goods carry no LB Store commission.
- LB Store may change a published rate or payout schedule with at least 14 days' notice through the portal or app. Continuing to sell after the notice period means you accept the change. A rate agreed with you in writing changes only by agreement.
4. Orders, listings and fulfilment (products, restaurants, stores)
- Keep your stock counts accurate — customers can only buy what the app says you have.
- Prepare confirmed, paid orders promptly and mark them ready on time; verify shipping details when asked.
- Ship or hand over items matching the listing in quality, quantity, and description.
- Honour the return window you set on your listings (or the platform default) and cooperate with refund handling.
- You confirm that everything you list is lawful to sell in Lebanon and in any country you ship to, authentic, accurately described and priced, and that you own or have rights to all photos, designs, and trademarks you upload. Food items must carry accurate ingredient, allergen and sell-by information. LB Store may remove listings or suspend accounts that break these rules.
4b. Partner stores and channel conduct
When your products sit on a partner store's shelf, the store carries the cost of putting you in front of that customer. LB Store is one operation across the app, partner shelves and your own counter, and these rules keep it that way:
- Price parity. You set your prices, and the same price applies everywhere. You may not offer a lower price, a discount, free delivery, or any other advantage for ordering directly from you (by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, your website or in person) than the price for the same item on LB Store.
- No diversion. You may not solicit, invite or take orders outside the platform from customers who discovered you on a partner store's shelf, in the app, or through LB Store material. If such a customer contacts you directly, point them to your store page in the LB Store app.
- Shelf material is LB-issued. Price labels, story cards and shelf talkers on partner shelves are produced through the platform and carry the LB QR code to your store page. They may not carry a phone number, WhatsApp, "DM to order", or any other direct-order contact.
- Sanctions. A first breach gets a written notice through the portal. A further breach lets LB Store remove your products from partner shelves and, for persistent breach, suspend or terminate this agreement under section 12.
5. Customer data
Customer names, phone numbers, addresses and booking details are shared with you solely to fulfil orders and bookings. You may not use them for marketing outside the platform, sell them, or retain them beyond what fulfilment and your legal obligations require. You handle them in line with LB Store's Privacy Policy and keep them secure.
6. Stays — hosts, hotels and property managers
- Your listing is a promise. Photos, amenities, capacity, house rules, check-in and check-out times and the cancellation policy you choose are what the guest buys. Keep them accurate and keep your calendar current, including any calendars you sync from other platforms. A confirmed booking you cannot honour is a double-booking: LB Store refunds the guest in full, you bear the cost of rehousing the guest where we arrange it, and repeated double-bookings lead to delisting.
- Exact location. You provide the exact map pin and street address. The pin is shown to customers; the address and access details (door code, lockbox, key handover) are released to the guest only once the booking is confirmed and paid.
- Pricing. You set the nightly rate, cleaning fee and any deposit. The guest sees one total including LB Store's service fee; you may not ask the guest for extra payments that were not on the listing, other than a deposit disclosed there or charges for damage.
- Requests. Respond to booking requests within the window shown in the portal; unanswered requests lapse and count against your response rate.
- Guests on site. You are responsible for the safety and legality of the property, for required permits and registrations, for collecting guest ID where Lebanese regulations require it, and for your staff. You may decline a guest who breaks house rules; tell LB Store the same day.
- Damage and deposits. Claims for damage must be reported with evidence within 48 hours of check-out; LB Store mediates deposit deductions between you and the guest.
- Hotels may list several room types, each with its own calendar, and sync each room type's calendar by iCal with their own booking system.
7. Long-term rentals (one month or more)
- A long-term rental is a tenancy between you (the owner) and the tenant. LB Store lists the property, introduces the tenant, collects rent and the deposit on your behalf in cash at the LB Store office, issues receipts, keeps the ledger and pays you your share; LB Store is not a party to the tenancy and does not guarantee the tenant's payments.
- LB Store's commission on rent is the rate shown on your listing agreement and is deducted from each rent payment before it is paid out to you. The deposit is held by LB Store, carries no commission, and is returned to the tenant through LB Store within 14 days of move-out less deductions you and the tenant agree, or that LB Store decides where you disagree, based on evidence.
- You confirm you are entitled to let the property and that it is habitable, and you remain responsible for repairs and for the terms of the tenancy.
8. Activities, events and cars
- Organizers are responsible for running the activity or event safely, with the permits, insurance and qualified staff it requires, and for honouring reservations made in the app. Where tickets are pay-at-the-door you collect payment as LB Store's agent (section 2); where guests pay in the app, LB Store pays you after the event takes place. Events you cancel or reschedule are refunded to guests in full.
- Car agencies rent under their own rental contract, signed with the renter at handover, and carry their own insurance. The listing must state the agency's licence, age, deposit and insurance requirements. LB Store arranges the booking and, where paid in the app, the payment, and is not party to the rental contract.
9. Property managers and representatives
If you list a property, business or experience on behalf of its owner, you confirm you have the owner's written authority to do so, to set prices and to receive payouts, and you will show it to LB Store on request. Commission rates agreed with a manager apply to the properties the manager lists; the manager is responsible to the owner for passing on the owner's share.
10. Tax status and your own taxes
- Carto AI Inc is a United States company. Before your first payout you complete a short tax self-certification in the portal (whether you are a US person, your country of residence). Carto AI Inc uses it to issue the tax form that applies to you (for example a Form 1099 for US persons) and to apply any withholding the law requires. Keep it current; if your situation changes, update it within 30 days.
- You are responsible for your own taxes in Lebanon or wherever you are resident, including VAT and income tax on your earnings. LB Store gives you statements for this and does not file anything with any tax authority on your behalf.
11. Reviews and conduct
Customers may review you after a completed order or stay. You may reply publicly once. You may not offer anything in exchange for a review, review yourself, or ask a customer to remove one. Treat customers and LB Store staff with respect; harassment or discrimination against guests or customers is grounds for immediate termination.
12. Term, suspension and termination
Either side may end this agreement at any time with notice. On termination or suspension, pending orders and confirmed bookings must still be fulfilled or are refunded by LB Store at your cost, all amounts you owe become immediately due, your remaining balance is paid out on the next payout date after all open orders and bookings are closed, and consigned goods are returned per the platform's returns process. LB Store may suspend accounts immediately for fraud, misconfirmed payments, double-bookings, unlawful listings, or a pattern of chargebacks or complaints.
13. Liability
The platform is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, LB Store's total liability to you is limited to the commissions LB Store earned from your sales in the three months before the claim. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses. You indemnify LB Store against claims by customers or third parties arising from what you supply — the product, the property, the activity, the vehicle — or from your breach of this agreement.
14. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of [STATE — Carto AI Inc's state of incorporation], United States, and its courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory rules of Lebanese law that apply to your business and conduct in Lebanon. Before any claim, both sides try in good faith to resolve the matter through the portal within 30 days. [Counsel: confirm governing-law and dispute-forum choice.]
15. Acceptance
You accept this agreement electronically in the vendor portal. The date, time, and version of your acceptance are recorded and constitute your signature. Partners who accepted version 2026-09-04 are asked to accept this version in the portal; from 15 November 2026 it applies to all sales and bookings on the platform.
